Madison County Supplemental Food Program
Supplemental food is given each month to low-income families and individuals. They receive meat, bread, milk, eggs, fruit, vegetables, and non-perishable food items. We currently serve over 1700 families.
Commodity Supplemental Food Program (C.S.F.P.)
This program works to improve the health of elderly people at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity foods.
Madison County Backpack Program
This program bridges the gap that exists when school lunch is not available on weekends. Children in need are confidentially identified by their teachers and receive food that will sustain them over the weekend. We serve 20 schools with approximately 2700 backpacks of food each month.
